Jewish Community Development

70 years of state-instilled atheism alienated Russian Jews from their religion, traditions and community also depriving them of necessary skills and knowledge needed to restore the institutes of Jewish life. Aspiring to reconnect Russian Jews to their heritage and their people around the world, JDC supports a network of Jewish community centers that offer diverse cultural, educational and community programs aimed at restoring Jewish self-identification, promoting traditional Jewish values and establishing spiritual connection with the State of Israel. Offering programs for all age groups, JDC especially focuses on attracting Jewish youth regarding their Jewish self-identification as a key to building a strong and energetic Jewish community in Russia.Today thousands of Jewish children and grown-ups participate in various programs and events featured by the community centers and the Jewish Cultural Center at Nikitskaya is already well-known as one of the most attractive cultural venues of Moscow.

This professional community is formed to create the space for dialogue, education and experience exchange among individuals and organizations involved in Jewish formal and informal education.

Family camp "Jerusalem Fairy-tale"

Located in a resort at Black Sea, this camp combines recreational activities for children, grown-ups and entire family with a rich cultural program and an extensive Jewish educational component.
