Women’s Health Empowerment Program held a Breast Cancer Prevention Day in the women’s prison No.5 in Vyshni Volotchek. The visit included medical screening of 218 inmates and personnel of the prison and an educational presentation by WHP team.

The 3rd seminar of the Knafaim-2011 Jewish Young Leadership Course introduced participants to the State of Israel. Young leaders spent a week there learning about Israel’s traditions, culture and social entrepreneurship and participating in educational sessions and personal development trainings.

Participants of the Knafaim Jewish Young Leadership Course organized and carried out a volunteer action in the Gan Chamah Jewish kindergarten. Young leaders spent a day painting fence and planting flowers in the garden of Gan Chamah.

“MIR Volunteer Project” invited its participants to a celebration summarizing the second year of its implementation. The project provides children at risk with an opportunity to acquire an “older brother or sister” – a volunteer who would become a friend, help with studying and, in a lot of cases, improve their self-esteem and social skills.
